Navigation System with touch screen Like all Jaguar technology, the optional Satellite Navigation System is straightforward and intuitive. It´s fully programmable with up to 20 preset destinations. For example, you can select a preset destination or press the HOME button on the 7" touch screen for instant directions. Postcode-based DVD technology means around eight times more information can be stored (and accessed more quickly) than with most other systems.

JaguarVoice To control all the S-TYPE´s key functions without taking your eyes off the road, just press the steering wheel´s Voice button and speak. Optional JaguarVoice allows you to give instructions to the navigation system, adjust the climate control, make a phone call or control the audio system.

Automatic Climate Control Jaguar´s Automatic Climate Control technology is designed to provide easy-to-use, consistent comfort levels. Set your desired temperature levels for driver and front passenger, select AUTO and the controlled environment within your S-TYPE will remain constant, regardless of outside conditions. Pollen and odour filters are fitted as standard and the system will intervene to keep windows clear of misting.

Memory Pack Slip into the driver´s seat and select your personal setting. The steering column rake and tilt, seat position, exterior mirrors, nestle comfortingly around you. Memory function is standard on all Sport, SE and R models and optional on the Classic V6 and V6S.

Audio & Communications The Jaguar Alpine Sound system with AM/FM radio, single slot CD player and 4-speaker is standard on all models A 10-speaker Premium sound system, CD changer, dual band integrated telephone and TV tuner are all available as options.

FRONT AND REAR PARKING ASSIST Ultrasonic sensors fitted to the front and rear bumpers indicate by way of an audio signal the proximity of parked cars and other obstacles. Front sensors works from a distance of 1.8 metres (6´) to the front and 0.6 metres (24") to either side of the front bumper. Rear sensors work from a distance of 1.5 metres (5´) to the rear and 0.5 metres (20") to either side of the rear bumper.

ALLOY GEARKNOB Chrome finish alloy gear knob. Available on automatic models only. Enhances the interior of your Jaguar with minimum fitting time.

SPORT GEARKNOB Gearknob in charcoal leather with chrome sides. Available on automatic models only. Enhances the interior of your Jaguar with minimum fitting time.

WOOD/LEATHER STEERING WHEEL Wood/leather steering wheels provide a classic finish to the vehicle´s interior. Available in maple, trimmed with colour keyed leather.

SPLASH GUARDS A stylish yet robust set of moulded splash guards, complete with fitting components. Front and rear sets sold separately. Front not suitable for ´R´ derivatives.

COMPASS MIRROR Totally encased within rear view mirror, the compass indicates the 8 cardinal points. Can only be fitted as replacement for electrochromatic rear view mirror.

Electronic Park Brake You´ll notice something missing inside the S-TYPE´s roomy interior if you´re used to more conventional luxury saloons. There´s no bulky handbrake to take up space in the cockpit. Just a discreet chrome lever behind the gear selector electronically operates the Electronic Park Brake. And as this is Jaguar technology, it´s not just clever. It´s safe too, automatically engaging when you remove the ignition key and releasing when you select an automatic gear.

SMOKED REAR LAMP LENSES A subtle visual treatment that blends seamlessly with the S-TYPE´s styling.

EXHAUST SYSTEM Available for V6 S-TYPE models, the Sports exhaust is distinguished by its large finishers and distinctive sporty note.
