MEMORY PACK, POWER ADJUSTABLE STEERING COLUMN AND PEDALS The ideal settings for power adjustment of the steering wheel height and reach, pedals driver's seat and exterior mirrors can be memorised for three different drivers and accessed at the press of a button. Optional for XJ6, standard for other models.

TOUCH SCREEN The 7 inch touch screen display uses thin-film transistor technology to give you easy fingertip control of the multi-functional satellite navigation system, audio, climate and (where fitted) telephone.

SATELLITE NAVIGATION The DVD-based navigation system. provides directions on the touch screen display and by spoken word. If you stray off the suggested route it rapidly suggests new directions. The system can suggest points of interest, including the nearest filling station if the fuel level is low.

JAGUAR VOICE Simply press the "talk" button on the steering wheel and audio, climate and (where fitted) telephone and satellite navigation systems can all be controlled by your spoken command, to help you maintain effortless control.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL Radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) constantly maintains a comfortable gap to the car ahead, taking 40 individual measurements during each horizontal scan. ACXC also offers Forward Alert, which provide a timely audible warning if traffic ahead starts to slow down.

4-ZONE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL Automatically maintaining the driver and passenger's individual preferred temperatures, the system can even detect and compensate for the sun on one side of the car.

PARKING ASSIST Ultrasonic sensors are integrated into the rear bumper of all XJ models. Audible beeps increase in frequency as you get closer to another car or obstacle, helping you determine the remaining available distance. Front Parking Assist is also standard on all models except XJ6 and Sport V8, where it is an option. Parking Assist switches off automatically at speeds above 9mph (15km/h).

MEMORY SEATS With memory settings for three different drivers, the front seats feature 12 or 16-way electric adjustment.

REAR MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM The new XJ offers an extraordinarily sophisticated multimedia system as an option. Video screens are mounted in the back of each front seat head restraint with separate headphone output. This allows, for example, one rear seat passenger to watch a film on TV or DVD, while another plays on a games system, all without disturbing the driver, who can listen to the radio or a CD. The system is fully compatible with iPOD and MP3 files

HEADPHONES High performance Jaguar branded headphones for use in vehicles fitted with rear entertainment systems. Offer excellent sound reproduction and are comfortable to wear.

ELECTRONIC PARK BRAKE (EPB) Simply pull up the neat chrome lever to engage, push don to release. The Electronic Park Brake (EPB) is also automatically released when you start the engine, engage a gear and drive away.

HEADLIGHT AND WIPER SENSORS For your convenience and safety, sensors automatically detect light levels and switch on dipped headlights. Rain-sensing wipers, which automatically switch on when needed and can adjust speed to the volume of rain detected are fitted as standard to all models.

JAGUAR ALPINE PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM The superb 12 speaker audio system delivers up to 320 watts from the radio, cassette, 6 CD autochanger or optional MiniDisc player.
